Reviews

Great coat, but wears out quickly.

"The cuffs and elbows fray quickly and the duck material becomes fragile after a few washes. As a lease operator in the O&G field, we are rough on clothing. The constant entering and exiting the pickup to opening and closing gates, gauge tanks, and roustabout work that needs done, these coats fall apart quickly. After 2 seasons, 75% of my coat is in decent condition. The other 25% makes the coat no longer FR rated and a snag hazard. Bulwark needs to address the fraying cuffs and elbows. As for the warmth, these coats are awesome except for the draft going up the cuffs and elbows."

FR Hooded Jacket

"I waited a year to buy this jacket as I watched Operators at Marathon Oil’s largest refinery here in Texas wear it. I am so glad I bought it as it is truly the finest and well worth the investment."

— Joseph S. (5/5)

sizes are not reflective of real size

"why are the sleeve lengths shown? It does no good if the sleeves are 3" to short. Doesn't matter if it comes halfway to my knees if the sleeves are not long enough. Need realistic sleeve lengths."

— Mark S. (1/5)

Fits extremely large

"I wear 2X bulwark gear at work for our uniforms but their 2x jacket fit like a 3-4x. i returned it and bought a XL elsewhere. great value jacket, just order a size smaller than you think you need. I'm 6'4 250-260lbs."

— Alden (4/5)

Nice jacket but oversized

"Absolutely huge! I normally wear medium but with this item I would need an xxxxxxxxxxs to make it fit! Otherwise from that, it is a great quality jacket!"

— Ginger (4/5)
