Limitations of Use
This garment is intended to be worn on a continuous basis in environments where incidental exposure to heat & flame is possible.  It is not intended to be worn for entry, structural or wildlands firefighting activities and provides no personal protection from chemical exposures or molten metal splash, unless otherwise noted.

Marking Recommendations & Restrictions
Any additional labeling, emblems, trim or heraldry added to this garment by the distributor or end user should meet the requirements of NFPA 2112. Clothing may be marked with an individual’s name, department, etc. using an indelible laundry marker. Separate laundry labels should be attached for this purpose. DO NOT REMOVE AND DO NOT MARK on the safety or cleaning labels on any protective garments.

Warranty Information
The warranty of Bulwark Protection is stated in our conditions of sale.  We will ship the goods ordered, and they will be free of fabric or manufacturing defects.  Bulwark will repair or replace any garment that has a manufacturing defect.  No other warranty is made, either expressed or implied, including no guarantee of fitness for a particular use or purpose.

Sizing/Adjustment
Selection of sizing of clothing should maximize the function of the wearer without impeding movement. Significant alterations to the garment are not permitted as they could reduce the protective qualities of the clothing.

Recommended Storage Practices
Garments should be cleaned before storing in a cool, dry environment and out of direct contact with light.

Inspection Frequency & Details
It is the wearer’s responsibility to inspect the garment before every wearing for rips, tears, holes, thin spots, broken/missing closures and heavy soiling. Remove garment from service if a rip, tear or hole is larger than 1” or if damage is otherwise too extensive to be repaired.

Donning & Doffing Procedures
This and all flame resistant garments are worn properly only when sleeves are rolled down with cuffs closed, front closures are fully engaged and shirt tail tucked in.

Cleaning Instructions & Precautions
It is essential to keep flame resistant clothing clean in order to maximize the protective quality of the garment. Residual soils, especially those that are petroleum based, can mask the flame resistance of the fabric and become fuel for an ignition source. If a garment becomes heavily soiled or if contaminants emit an odor indicative of petroleum-based substances, it should be removed from service for cleaning or replacement. This garment should be cleaned after every wearing according to the instructions on the label. Do not use bleach, starch, fabric softeners or detergents containing hydrogen peroxide on this garment as they could negatively affect the flame-resistant properties.

Maintenance Criteria & Methods of Repair, where applicable
If this garment should become damaged, it should be repaired by an experienced service provider using fabric and findings commensurate with those used in the original construction of the garment. Significant alterations to the garment are not permitted as they could reduce the protective qualities of the clothing.

It is user’s responsibility to determine the level of hazards and the proper personal protective equipment needed.

Limitations of Use
Do not use for protection against continuous thermal loads, hot liquids or steam. Do not wear alone for limb/torso protection during structural firefighting. Do not use for chemical protection. Failure to comply with this warning may result in serious injury or death. Do not wear gloves when there is a risk of entanglement by moving parts of a machine.

Warranty Information
Bulwark warrants only to the purchaser/end user for a period of ninety (90) days from date the gloves were shipped to the purchaser/end user that they are free of defects in materials and workmanship. Since conditions of use are outside Bulwark’s control, Bulwark makes NO OTHER WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, NO WARRANTIES OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR USE and assume no liability in connection with any use of the Bulwark garment or accessory. Further, this warranty does not cover any damage caused by accident, improper care or use, failure to follow our care and laundering instructions, negligence, normal wear and tear, or the natural breakdown of materials over extended time and use.

2. PREPARATION FOR USE

Recommended Storage Practices
Products must be stored unopened at room temperature and protected from heat, humidity, sunlight, ozone, pests, and sharp objects. It is recommended that products be subject to a “First In, First Out” stock rotation. Products with or without an expiry date do not release the customer from ensuring product viability upon receipt and do not warrant the fitness of a product for any particular use.

Inspection Frequency & Details
Before usage, inspect the gloves for any defects or imperfections. It is recommended to check that the gloves are suitable for the intended use because the conditions at the workplace may differ from the type test depending on temperature, abrasion, and degradation. When used, protective gloves may provide less resistance due to changes in physical properties. It’s recommended that each company establish its own criteria for regular, routine inspection and subsequent repair or retirement of protective clothing. Visual inspection for worn areas, mechanical damage, improper alterations, improper fit, or contamination with flammable substances may be cause for removal from service, as determined by the end user.

Donning & Doffing Procedures
Gloves can be properly donned by pulling them snugly and fully over the hand; interfaces at the wrist should be completely covered. Gloves should not be worn in combination with other gloves or liners, as this may impact FR rating. Gloves can be doffed by grasping the fingertips of the gloves and pulling them away from the hand until the glove has been completely removed.

The user assumes all risks associated with the use of this product. Bulwark shall not be liable for loss, injury, or death arising out of the use of this product.

Ensure gloves are clean before each wearing. Do not attempt to repair or patch any part of the gloves including but not limited to fabric, thread, or other components.

4. RETIREMENT & DISPOSAL CRITERIA

The glove should be removed from service and retired after exposure to flame, heat, or any chemical exposure; if it cannot be adequately cleaned; or if it is damaged or significantly worn. Discard used gloves in compliance with local regulations.
